Our shops
We have two locations in Bristol - our original shop in Long Ashton and our newer Southville shop. Both accept bikes for servicing and repairs, and both carry stock. If you’re not sure which shop to visit, give us a call and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Getting here
Long Ashton
We’re on Lovelinch Gardens, just off the main road through Long Ashton village. There’s free parking right outside the shop. If you’re cycling from Bristol, it’s a straightforward ride along the A370 or a lovely route via the Festival Way cycle path.
Southville
Our Southville shop is on Myrtle Street in Bedminster, just off North Street. It’s easy to reach by bike from the city centre and well served by bus routes along North Street. Street parking is available nearby.
What can we help with?
Whether you have a quick question or need detailed advice, we’re here. Here are some of the things people get in touch about:
General enquiries
For anything else, you can email us at info@bristolbikesmiths.com and we’ll get back to you as quickly as we can - usually within a working day.
Frequently asked questions
It’s not strictly required, but we’d strongly recommend it. The workshop gets busy and we have limited storage space, so booking ahead means we can get your bike in sooner. You can book online or call us.
Both shops offer servicing, repairs and carry stock. Long Ashton is our main location with longer opening hours and the bigger workshop. Southville is handy if you’re Bristol city-side. If in doubt, call and we’ll advise.
We can give you a rough idea based on what you describe, but the best way to get an accurate quote is to pop in for a free health check. We’ll look over the bike and tell you exactly what it needs and what it’ll cost - no obligation.
Yes - you can order online and collect for free from either shop. We’ll let you know as soon as your order is ready to pick up.
Long Ashton has free parking right outside. At Southville, there’s street parking nearby on Myrtle Street and the surrounding roads.
